Holiday Kisses & Wishes includes two digital art prints for the price of one! Happy Holidays!
Each of the digital art prints features the same original illustration by KJ of sweet mistletoe tied together with a big and beautifully rich red bow. Nestled behind the illustration are the lyrics to Sleigh Ride, a favorite holiday song of mine. On top of the lyrics sits bold and festive typography borrowing favorite phrases from the song combined with a reference to the mistletoe and to the spirit of the holidays: Rosy Cheeks Kisses and Comfy & Cozy Wishes.
The colors evoke classic and retro holiday feels. The illustration features break through textures and inky edges of black, as well as layering of text with translucency and texture, to give a subtle nod to a hand printed look. The inky illustration is layered with soft brushy strokes, sometimes subtle and sometimes contrasting, to create rich depth and texture without being obvious or overstated.
